Abdominal scar improvement with Fraxel and Excel V lasers in Jacksonville, Fl*

This 32y female came to us with concerns of her red, raised surgical scar from a previous abdominal surgery. Pt was aware that the scar could not be erased completely but wanted options to improve it. Our team utilized combination therapy including the Fraxel laser for texture and over all appearance of the scar and the Excel V laser to help decrease the redness. These pictures show her progress after 3 sessions. Typically with scars, most patients will need an average of at least 4-6 treatments. This patient is seeing nice improvement after a few sessions. Realistic expectations are important. Very nice improvement is noted to both the texture of the scar as well as the amount of redness.
